“I am too poor for a real JZX100 and I just like big sedans.” That’s what ETCH founder and moderator Kcameron said when we asked what drew him to his 1993 Lexus LS400. And that’s something that none of the other founders and members could deny - we all knew that this big-bodied sedan was undeniably Kcam’s signature. Four years ago, when he told us he picked up an LS400 - none of us were surprised. That’s not a bad thing though! Through his four years of ownership, Kcam has put in a lot of work to get it to where it sits today.

Most notably, Kcam’s choice of body kit is actually a cut and extended fiberglass BN Sports style made for a JZX100 by KFD Tuning Shop (IG @kfd_tuningshop)! I guess the JZX bug never really stopped biting for Kcam. He actually had to learn how to work with fiberglass and deal with body work for the whole kit to even fit properly. As you can see in the pictures, it now sits at a proper height and fits the lines of the body pretty well.

Underneath all of that body sits a thoroughly reworked chassis. This LS400 sits on Fortune Auto 510 coil-overs that allow for a full range of adjustability. This is coupled with SERIALNINE front upper control arms and lower control arms that have been extended by 20mm with polyurethane bushings.. Additionally, the spindles hae been shortened and FIGS Engineering outer tie rods replace the factory set. At the rear, Megan Racing lower control, caster, and toe arms fill the cavities.

Another special treat that this LS400 brings us is the swapped-in 5-speed manual that allows Kcam to bring this stylish beast - I mean look at that interior! - to several drift events when he has the chance. These events include a Drift Central (IG @driftcentral_official) hosted event out in Marina, CA, as well as two Good Luck League (IG @goodluckleague) practice day events and two private events at Thunderhill Raceway.
